White Balance

  • Always use the camera’s white balance function before you begin shooting. If you fail to use white balance, the colors in your video will be thrown off. For example, white walls might appear yellow or orange.
  • You can white balance the camera by zooming in on a smooth object that is pure white, such as a wall or a sheet of paper. The white object must completely fill the viewfinder. Then, press the white balance button (or use the white balance function in the camera’s menus).
